Kaw Smoke Shop-Newkirk, a retail tobacco facility, is located at our Southwind Casino/Bingo Hall in Newkirk, Okla. We feature a wide variety of domestic brands of tobacco, roll your own and make your own supplies and special order items in addition to specialty products. We carry a variety of non-tobacco items such as candles, lighters, Pendleton and Non-Pendleton items.
Access to the Smoke Shop can be made from inside Southwind Casino/Bingo Hall or thru our Drive up window, located on the west side of Southwind Casino.

The Johnnie Ray McCauley Gym, located at 3251 East River Road, Newkirk, OK, 74647, is the perfect place for your next event. The gym has a kitchen that can be used as a concession stand and bleachers that seat 175.

The Kaw Housing Authority was established October 17th, 1977, to serve low income Native Americans with affordable and adequate housing. We are a (TDHE) Tribal Designated Housing Entity located at #9 Kanza Lane, Newkirk, OK. We have served numerous families in our jurisdictional area which includes Newkirk, Kaw City, Ponca City, Blackwell and Braman.
We provide many services to our families, such as down payment assistance in the State of Oklahoma, college housing assistance throughout all states. These programs are explicit to our Kaw Tribal Members. We have other programs listed on our Facebook page that are subject to our jurisdictional area only. All policies and applications can be downloaded from our Facebook page. Our page is listed as Kaw Housing Authority.
Our hours are 8-4 Monday thru Friday. Our phone number is (580) 362-6264, fax number is (580) 362-3986. The phone number for emergency weekend maintenance calls is (580) 761-0354. This number is used for emergency maintenance only, such as heat and air, water leaks, and maintenance, that has to be handled expediently. For normal maintenance requests, you can download a form and send in to our office or e-mail one of our staff.

With increasing Native American populations, the Kaw Nation recognizes the need to assist families with their child care costs. The Kaw Nation CCDF program provides child care assistance to Native American families whose members are working or attending school.
The Kaw Nation CCDF program seeks to support Native American families in their endeavors by providing child care assistance. Our main objective is to ensure that each family has access to quality and convenient child care. We serve Kay County, Oklahoma and Cowley, Sedgwick and Sumner Counties, Kansas.
